I’ve found that designing/hacking the CMS (drupal vs wordpress) a fascinating journey. At first I was really fired up to hack and bend drupal to my will be was so turned off with the speggetti code that the views/cck spit out. So I decided to try wordpress and it spits out lots of code to esspecially the plugins – but in the end it felt more MINIMAL.

Its astonishing how complex and overbloated everything can get when trying to build a CMS… Shit its enough for a graphic designer to understand  Layout Grids, Color, Typography etc. But now there is CSS (position:relative, absolute etc.)
